About 10 minutes. Multiple-choice questions about your experience, gear and areas — no essays. Add a few samples for each service you offer.

Review
LYSTO looks at your work by hand and approves each service you offer individually — photography, video, drone, Matterport, floor plans.

Onboard
Accept the work rules, do the 15-minute upload walkthrough, and shoot one paid test job with us. Then you're live.

Get offers
Offers arrive by text, email and in your portal. Accept before the deadline. Lockbox and access details unlock 24 hours before the shoot.

Deliver & get paid
Upload edited files within 24 hours. LYSTO reviews and releases to the client — and your share moves from pending to available in your wallet. Cash out to your bank whenever you like.
What we're looking for
Offer one service or all five. Each is reviewed and approved on its own, so you only get offers for work you're cleared to do.
Photography
HDR interior + exterior stills, delivered edited and MLS-ready.
Video
Cinematic walkthrough tours and vertical social reels.
Drone photo & video
Aerial stills and clips. Requires a Transport Canada pilot certificate.
Matterport 3D tour
360° scans with your own Matterport-compatible camera.
Floor plans
Measured 2D floor plans (CubiCasa, Matterport, or similar).
The numbers
Client prices never change. On every job, the on-site services are split 80/20: you keep 80%, LYSTO keeps 20% for booking, client management, payment processing, hosting and support.

What we expect
The short version. The full work rules are in the creator handbook and you accept them during onboarding.
Punctuality & communication
Accept or decline every offer before its deadline. Silence counts as a decline and the job is reassigned.
Property care & professional behaviour
Shoes off (or covers on) indoors. Leave every room exactly as you found it — move only what the client has agreed to.
Delivery deadlines & quality
Upload finished, edited media to the job's Drive folder within 24 hours of the shoot window ending.
Cancellations, missed shoots & reshoots
You may cancel an accepted job without penalty with 48+ hours notice. Less than that counts as a strike.
Payment
You receive 80% of the on-site services on each job (pre-tax, after any client discount). LYSTO keeps 20% for booking, client management, payment processing, hosting and support.
Content & confidentiality
Media you deliver is licensed to LYSTO and its client for marketing the property. You may show it in your own portfolio once the listing is public, credited as shot for LYSTO.
Questions creators ask
Who edits the photos?
You do. LYSTO clients receive finished, edited HDR photos — straight verticals, blended exposures, neutral colour. Your 80% share includes the editing time.
Do I need my own gear?
Yes. A full-frame or APS-C body with a wide-angle lens and tripod is the baseline. Drone work needs a Transport Canada pilot certificate and a registered drone. Matterport tours need your own Matterport-compatible camera.
What about travel?
Travel inside the GTA service area is included in your rate. When a client pays a travel surcharge for an out-of-area property, that surcharge is passed to you in full.
What if I have to cancel?
Cancel an accepted job with 48+ hours notice and there's no penalty. Less notice counts as a strike. If the client cancels inside 24 hours after you've accepted, you still receive 50% of the payout.
When am I paid?
Your share shows up in your LYSTO wallet as pending the moment you accept a job. When LYSTO approves your delivery it becomes available, and you cash out to your connected bank account (or by Interac e-Transfer) whenever you like — usually in your account within 3 business days. Every job has a statement line in your portal.
Can I use the photos in my portfolio?
Yes — once the listing is public, credited as shot for LYSTO. Until then, the property, the client and the address stay confidential.
Am I an employee?
No. Creators are independent contractors who set their own days and hours, choose which offers to accept, and handle their own taxes, insurance and licences.

The application takes about ten minutes and stays private while we review it. Once you're active you get a public LYSTO profile page clients and realtors can see.
